Practical Implications for Employers
By |
In defense of a sexual harassment case involving a supervisor-subordinate relationship, it will be important for an employer
to be able to show that it took reasonable steps to prevent the harassment, including adopting a strong policy against harassment,
training managers and supervisors, and otherwise sensitizing the workplace to sexual harassment issues. It will also be important
to show that the complaining employee had a complaint procedure available to him or her, and the employee failed to utilize
it.
